Where Black Art Lives Beach Ball

The beach ball, with bold red, black, and silver panels, proclaims “Where Black Art Lives,” a declaration that speaks to the Museum’s ongoing commitment to serve as the nexus for Black art and artists internationally.

The Studio Museum in Harlem’s Studio Store announces the second release from its inaugural capsule collection with the “Where Black Art Lives” beach ball and beach tote. Designed by Ayem, the design and research duo of Albert L. Hicks IV and Marcus Washington Jr., these summer-ready capsule additions combine conceptual play and minimalist design in celebration of the Studio Museum’s past, present, and future.
