Black Joy Paper™ was created to amplify the voices of a group of talented Black artists, and to add diversity and inclusion in an industry that has lacked that presence in past years.

As artists and business owners of six compelling brands of cards and stationery, Black Joy Paper™ expresses their individuality, creativity, and experiences through their respective product lines. With Black Joy Paper™, they all come together to introduce a shared body of work that will not only add a new spectrum of color to the stationery industry but also normalize the representation of Black artists.

Cherrymae Golston is a 3-dimensional artist, born and raised in Belize, whose art explores her Afro-Caribbean heritage through her exquisite quilts and beautiful pottery. She is inspired by the bold patterns and vibrant colors of African and Caribbean decorative arts, creating layers of textural and historical reference. Cherrymae's work is celebratory, honoring the women that have raised and nurtured her, with positive portrayals of women of African descent in her art. Her work strikes a note of traditional with modern uplifting themes.
