Barkley L. Hendricks Collection Victory at 23 Enamel Earrings

Capturing subjects, their style, and their character with intentional references and thoughtful technique, Barkley L. Hendricks presented renderings of figures that were joyful, human, stylish, and above all, distinctive.

What a style queen!
The futuristic silver glasses propped on her forehead. The fun, bold, and colorful accessories adorn her neck, ears, ankles, wrist, and belly. Her hands are on her hip as she flaunts her white bandeau top and her white, perfectly draped suit. The black balloon. She’s a force to be reckoned with; twenty-three and clearly winning.

These unique earrings, crafted by designer and entrepreneur Melody Ehsani draw inspiration from this figure’s undeniably confident energy. True to her style, Ehsani brings her commitment to community building and the highest standards of ethical production to the Studio Museum.
