Artists Respond: The "New World" Question is the Studio Museum in Harlem's exhibition catalogue for the 1993 celebratory exhibition of the same name. Artists Respond was as shown as a part of the Studio Museum in Harlem's 25th Anniversary Year celebration.

Artists Respond: The "New World" Question features the work of seven African-American and Latino artists that were selected to create site-specific installations and performances surrounding discourse on the legacy of Christopher Columbus's "discovery" of the "New World." 

The artists featured in this exhibition were Martha Jackson-Harvis, Joseph S. Lewis III, Antonio Martorell, Fred Wilson, Emilio Cruz, Joyce Scott, and Kaylynn Sullivan Twotrees.
